Family Activities |

A goal of the Children’s RE Committee is to provide a sense of community for our children. Two groups have been formed to provide activities for families outside of regular church service hours: Family Fun Nights have activities geared toward children 6 years of age and under; the Family Explorers Group has activities geared toward children 6 -13 years old. Monthly events alternate between Family Fun Nights and the Family Explorers Group. We are also planning to have an annual event for all families.
Although activities are planned for the age range listed, all ages are welcome, including those congregants without children. We hope that you will join us for our next event! |

Upcoming events Join us for a family camping weekend at Hueston Woods. The park is located 45-55 minutes northwest of Cincinnati. There are abundant activities for families at this park including hiking, a 1500-ft beach, fossil hunting, miniature golf, volleyball, paintball, boat rental, horseshoes, Frisbee golf, and horseback riding. Tent camp, bring your camper, or stay in the Hueston Woods lodge if you like. The camping sites have electricity, running water, and nearby showers. We will meet August 9th Sat afternoon (2-3pm). Please RSVP by July 31st so we can determine how many sites to reserve. There is also a "potluck" dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday in the planning stages. RSVP to Nancy Sjostrom.
