July
Sunday, July 6 – Letters to Dominic – led by Jenni Rytel The main activity will be writing letters to Dominic Balingbing, the boy in the Philippines for which we collect money each week. Bring your favorite stationary or pictures you'd like to send him, as well as your creativity. We'll have plenty of other supplies for you to use and we'll help the younger kids with the writing. This is a great opportunity to show Dominic that we are thinking of him throughout the year.
Sunday, July 13 – Treasure Hunting—led by Suzanne Horton Ahoy Matey! Come aboard and bring your best treasure hunting skills with you when we will be looking for buried treasure somewhere on the grounds of Heritage. Legend has it a very valuable treasure awaits the noble-hearted lads and lasses of the church.
Sunday, July 20 – Story Telling—led by Cheryl Vasson Silly stories and silly dancing. Get ready to giggle and have a good time.
Sunday, July 27 – Candy Making – led by Sue Rahall & Becky Mathey We will be making candy: the children will melt chocolate wafers, spoon it into candy molds, put in the fridge and unmold it. We may also make another kind of candy. I will educate them about the origin of chocolate and where it comes from. Each child will have some to take home &/or share with people after the service. |
