Heritage is a congregation shaped by the people who are part of it. Our members elect a Board of Trustees, participate in important decisions, and help discern where the congregation is called to go next.
Leadership here is shared. Our minister, staff, Board, committees, and ministry teams each bring different gifts and responsibilities to the life of the church. Together, they help care for our community, support our ministries, and turn our values into action.
Some decisions belong to the whole congregation; others are entrusted to the Board, staff, or ministry teams. What holds it all together is a commitment to shared responsibility, thoughtful discernment, and the belief that the life of the congregation belongs to all of us.
